i think i’m picking up what you are putting down, so to speak
in short, we shouldn’t expect any given State to exist tomorrow.
the traditional conception of “separatist” movements is difficult to directly apply to Palestine, today, given the pre-existing legal constraints
Punjab was practically split down the middle during partition, so perhaps we can learn something from that.

i don’t follow - India and Pakistan are two separate, fully functional states.
that automatically makes it hypothetically feasible and practical to have a two-state solution in Israel-Palestine, from my perspective

A) No-State Solution
B) One-State Solution
C) Two-State Solution
D) Both-State Solution
A) is vacuous
What historical examination can we make for B)?
In examination of C), we can take India-Pakistan as a case study, as it arose from a similar situation with regard to the UK and WWII.
D) little idea what that would look like

what makes you think that the two-state solution is immoral or impractical?
postscript: I think it would be immoral to impose a two-state solution on the people of Palestine and Israel, if in the course of their self-determination, they determine they would prefer a single-state solution
