never been able to get Goose running with Gemini 2.5-pro-exp
works fine with Gemini 2.0 Flash, but keeps getting stuck so trying to break out of the problems by using a more sophisticated model.

diff tradeoffs, will prob stick with Windsurf for near term (next few days lol)
also want to try Cline, Goose/VSCode, and open to others. what have you found so far?

got similar working with windsurf this morning using Gemini Pro 2.5 as the underlying LLM
it failed in a few different ways, but debugging was quite easy. mostly involved copy/pasting console logs from the browser

I made a simple snake game with an AI opponent. I tried to add bitcoin payments, but the Gemini Canvas doesn’t have a backend. Cursor (and Windsurf) can use Gemini 2.5 Pro, but at least in Cursor this appears to be rate limited and continually failed when I tried today.
