Chat Control 2.0 ist weiter in Verhandlung. Frankreich, Italien, Spanien und Schweden gehören zu den stärksten Befürwortern. Frankreichs Delegation hatte laut internen Dokumenten „die wenigsten Bedenken".
Das Pflichtscanning wurde 2025 in „freiwillig" umbenannt. Experten sind sich einig: freiwillig unter Androhung von EU-Sperren und Milliardenstrafen ist kein Unterschied.
Signal drohte bereits, die EU zu verlassen.

Yes ! An English edition is coming. Can't give you a firm date yet (several parallel projects on my desk right
now), but it will happen, and I'll ping you when it drops.
Honestly: the interest from outside the German-speaking world means a lot. Tells me the topic resonates beyond
DACH.
