My grandfather wrote about his life as a gunner in the Royal Navy, which he joined in 1898 to fight the Boer war. It's called Holy Stones and Salt Junk and is unpublished, but the original manuscript now sits in the Leeds Royal Armouries Museum. I am going to self publish it on Amazon in the not too distant future.

It's definitely like me, but not quite. The synthesised version is a bit formal and averaged out. However the more you train it the better it gets. Individual clip lengths are limited to 30 seconds for training.

Do we want to trust our future intelligence to central, government influenced, AI companies or do we want to run local, private AI's that we have at least had some say in steering, if not training?
Currently the stages of LLM development are:
1. Training (data preparation and pre-training for foundational development)
2. Fine tuning for specific tasks or instructions
3. Evaluation and deployment.
Sovereign individuals will be curating their own data sets and fine tuning their own models more and more in the future and created automated workflows for this will become common place.
