A 2 or 3X return on 6 fig salaries (and whatever they can save at the lower into wages) at age 29 and up is more than enough. I never got anything near a100x and I’m doing fine at a much later age.
But I will say they’ll probably need to stop viewing it as an investment only used to get more fiat, which will be a lot less challenging moving forward tbf.

I think I'm going to straight up not feel sorry for gen z anymore.
Even if they got a useless college degree, if they pivot to blue collar/journeyman instead of grad school immediately after, they will have about 10 more years of saving up/ paying debt off/ while having a massive nearly-upper middle class salary, when compared to my cohort that got phds in science and the highest paying industry jobs.
they'll be fine and will surpass our trajectory and retire earlier, even faster if they start choosing bitcoin, which is massively derisked compared to when I started buying 8 years ago.

Emblem is an eth based token that wraps wallets, isn’t it? I don’t like using that, very clunky and it splits the markets, always have to hunt for the better deal and convert costs in your records.

nodemonkes, omb and puppets are a pretty good trifecta of collections on ordinals. history, hand drawn 1/1s and culture are fully covered on the motherchain in just 3 collections that often take the highest volume of the day.
coming around to putting my stuff on ordinals again, even after a few false starts (lost two works because my wallet stopped supporting transfers lol). i still am considering counterparty instead, but it is nice to have work that can be easily pruned by the bip110 whiners 🧡

I was trying to think of a metric where the transition happens, when dollar goes to zero and everything gets repriced in bitcoin.
For a moment I thought it has to be larger than gold's marketcap, because gold never replaced the dollar. But I think that's wrong because practically it couldn't because of physics (moving it around), whereas bitcoin actually practically/mechanistically can out of the box. So we could see the reprice of all financial assets/instruments happen prior to that, possibly.
On the other hand it may take an even larger market cap. In a way bitcoin has already gained thousands and thousands of percents in value againt the dollar, and it still has not replaced it.

The first live runs will be the test. Currently, the cost of clinical trials is sky high in dollar terms and time— and often drugs that pass them still aren’t very successful. Instead of putting efforts into the clinical study, they’ll just deploy directly on patients and monitor results as it’s live. If the first 20 patients die then it’s removed from sale, but there won’t be a separate, preceding trial with patient recruitment etc. Just my opinion, and a lot of my colleagues would disagree fwiw.
I am sure right now people are using ai to predict the results of clinical trials that already exist, to train that prediction model.
In my own experience I was impressed with AI’s ability to synthesize new hypotheses in areas I was familiar with. It would take similar leaps that I had thought of but weren’t explicitly in print I’d ever come across. It also had out of the box thinking on some things— that was 10 months ago, probably even better by now.
