Normies need to buy #bitcoin and understand what they hold in self-custody. But right now governments and banks and investment funds-- trusted entities, are telling them to buy and they are still dumping.
Regular people are too dumb to be the driving force for adoption. So, it will be 100% led by tradfi and fiat-wealthy people, which are using bitcoin as "just an asset" to continue worse and worse fiat games with-- a very different model for adoption than what maxis wanted.
Tradfi (internationally) are even working on new fiats to use as everyday money. Gold-dollars and basket-dollars are being deployed as we speak, and all major countries are rebuilding the entire financial system out on fiat-crypto rails (where the tokens and underlying gas tokens are fiat).
Bitcoin as money and "fix the money fix the world" will not happen for decades, if that, in my opinion. But trule believer bitcoiners may get a little less poor.

yeah, most of my friends know i'm the bitcoin person, and when they do come to me interested, theyre like, oh i saw i have to get a wallet and this and that, and i'm like, where do you buy stocks, they say something like robinhood, i'm like, just buy it there, don't worry.
the look of relief.
if they keep pressing, i say, well if you are concerned with the gov or corporations cutting your funds off, or you need to flee the country, i'll walk you through the wallet creation, but if not it's fine for now and just go at your own pace, *the most important thing is to get used to buying it and holding through dips*.
