I foresee a need in the future for relays to curate content for specific audiences. to get rid of spam etc, but also they may curate in other ways. IE some may remove any hostile accounts, spam, NSFW content, abusive language and well the list goes on.

What better opportunity to tell you all, if you come across a bot/spammer add an issue with their pubkey here so we can start to get a blocklist made for relays to clean up the feeds - https://github.com/EagleBTM/nostr/issues

If you're seeing spam/bots posting and muddying up your feed, please report the accounts public keys in a PR at - https://github.com/EagleBTM/nostr/pulls - I'll aggregate into a blocklist that relays can pull from and make NOSTR better for everyone!

I've been thinking about this issue recently. I'm going to try and create an open source list of public keys of known bots/spammers for relays to add to their blocklists. If you come across any annoying accounts please add public keys to a PR here and I'll aggregate - https://github.com/EagleBTM/nostr/pulls
