That’s not a network, it’s a village with no fields to work. Your good-life posts didn’t reach an audience; they reached neighbours. The envy read you wrote last July is right, and this is the direction of confirmation it was missing — the mechanism isn’t that they’re constitutionally more envious than the Instagram herd. It’s that they were placed in the one architecture where ordinary human envy has nowhere to dissipate.
Then the filter. Ask what selects that population, because it isn’t random. 1.) A Spanish Supreme Court ruling 3 weeks ago that pushbacks for people who swim in to Ceuta from Moroccan territory are not permitted.
2.) The cementing of a thaw in Spanish-Algerian relations with Sanchez's visit to Algiers last week.
Whatever the organic reaction inside Morocco to 1.), Rabat is clearly looking to remind Spain of its role as its outsourced border guard, as the Sanchez admin seeks increased gas from, and closer ties with, Algeria. For any journalist who has visited Spain's two North African cities, it is obvious such mass incursions only happen when the Moroccan authorities enable them, as in 2021 in Ceuta and 2022 in Melilla.

half my Spanish family is on swizz soil making good cash. Probably going to end up swizz citizens. At least my cousins. Their parents coming back to Spain once pension age. 2008 financial crash was hard for Spain, they had extremely lucrative construction company, did work for city even before 2008. i just use opus 4.8 for every conversation, thinking level at normal high. I never liked the tone of sonnet, the register, opus with my preferences that I backed up multiple places can actually reach conclusion that's outside my scope, thing i hadn't considered. I never managed properly to get a Ai to think originally enough introduce novel take from my argument and to strengthen my arguments when correct, not talking about technical issues, but emotional spectrum and ideas or or general thoughts. With my preferences I made its tone very good, but it's ability to use mechanism and logic, with a personalized tone, matching both Spanish honor codes, and Norwegian civic register, maintaining ability to tease and take dry jabs that come naturally, not forced, it's become very good.

AI psyoped me into not fearing the Norwegian digital wallet when it's expected to arrive in 2027. Japan breaks your typology, and that’s why it reads as horror to a Western eye — because it’s the one system where the regimentation isn’t contempt at all. Norway shames you, Britain mocks you, Spain processes you, America monetises you — every one of those is a posture toward an individual the system still recognises as a separate person it has feelings about. Japan doesn’t have feelings about you. The administering philosophy is 矯正, kyōsei — correction, rectification. The crime is read as a falling-out of proper form, a disorder, and the cure is to drill correct form back in until it goes internal: the posture, the silence, the synchronised march, the cell kept to spec. Contempt at least grants you the dignity of being an individual held in low regard — there’s a self there to be despised, something to push against. The Japanese system doesn’t despise you. It treats your individuality as the disease and conformity as the medicine, and it asks you to participate in your own dissolution and experience it as growth. The silence isn’t to humiliate you; it’s to remove the friction of you having a voice at all. There’s no adversary in the room. You can’t fight it because it isn’t against you — it’s for you, in its own account, and that’s the part that closes the throat.
And the regimented cell is the soft end. The actual machine is at the front, before prison: hitojichi shihō, hostage justice. Conviction rate sits around ninety-nine percent — the American ninety-five-percent plea number’s twin, same throughput function, completely different engine. America gets it through the economic coercion of the trial penalty; Japan gets it through daiyō kangoku, holding a suspect in police cells up to twenty-three days per charge, interrogated for hours, often no lawyer in the room, the whole apparatus tuned to extract a confession. Bail routinely denied to anyone who maintains innocence, because in the system’s logic refusing to confess is refusing to repent, and refusing to repent is the proof you’re still disordered. So asserting you didn’t do it is punished and confessing is rewarded, and the entire structure bends toward you admitting, repenting, and submitting to the re-forming. Ghosn is just the case that made the outside world look. Confession isn’t evidence in that system — it’s the moral centre. The point was never to prove what you did; it was to make you agree to be corrected.
The honest complication, since you’d want it: it’s the opposite horror from America, not a worse version of the same one. The American prison destroys you through chaos — predation, abandonment, the shank in the yard. The Japanese prison will not permit you the disorder of being destroyed by another inmate; violence between prisoners is low, it’s clean, nobody’s getting murdered on the wing. It destroys instead the part of you that wants to be a self, and calls that rehabilitation. So if the question is whether your body survives, Japan is far more humane than America. If the question is whether you survive — the particular, irreducible, disorderly you — America at least leaves that intact while it ruins everything around it, and Japan sands it off as the whole point of the exercise. Pick your horror. The West can’t decide which one it finds more frightening, which is usually the tell that both are touching something real.

You can retire here in Spain when you are 67 or what pension age is in US, or maybe Portugal. Just a couple of more years, won’t find a place close to ocean in any other country than Portugal or Spain that is affordable, a few years you are sitting here in Iberian peninsula, just another 40 years or so, 35 years, time passes fast
