I can't judge on anyone.
The path of little resistance and following the majority is a proven way of being safe and successful...
But once I realized freedom is what I crave for combined with current results of what the fiat system accomplished, I refuse to participate let alone support it...

Nice all those who want to help, review how wallets generate seeds....
But how about that wallet in your hands, how do you check which code is how compilated and how that HW wallet in your hand creates the the seed you want to use ?
Your own created entropy is one thing you can reasonably check/verify.
Print out all words on several A4's, separate all words, put in big bag, shake it good, blind pick one, write down the word, put back in bag, shake well, repeat 22 times, calculate the 24 word check sum, some wallets do that for you and that is again some trust you introduce!
Just know what you are doing, being your own bank ain't easy....

For a lot of people the limit of what to invest (kuchgamblekuch) is what money is available to them.

Back to the basics.
Gold and silver are good hard physical Money.

Apparently the Coldcard entropy issue was found by "AI" and subsequently abused.
It feels like we are entering a new era.
It will offer new chances, better sw, better testing, etc, but also new risks.
As always new developments can be used for the better but will also be used for the worse.
Open source code in that respect is at larger risk right now.
I'm sure if all legacy code of banking, industrial usage, nuclear launch algorithms and so on would be open source we would be in grave danger... Not to say we are not....

I think it goes further than words.
Loving freedom money is not enough.
We have to use it, promote it, educate others.
I can't function properly in most societies and refuse (as far as possible right now) to pay taxes since paying taxes is suporting/sustaining the corrupt and insane system.
I'm preparing to move again.
To a place where I even pay less tax than I already do.
Thinking about starting/building a small "Citadel" open to other Bitcoiners and like minded.
Growing our own food, energy "independent" etc.
Could be just a, impossible, dream.

A physical monetary system in current digital environment is simply impossible.

So some digital form is essential to have current complex society.
Next step is deciding what the best digital form is currently available.

Not sure, selling commercial products means you have a responsibility, also backed up by many laws...
But whatever me or you think about it or even what laws state......
The consequences are pretty big.
If we can't trust commercial HW wallets, it basically means all those Bitcoin skeptics are right and Bitcoin is very far from any usable mass adoption.
The whole ecosystem is put back many years in my opinion.
We should be able to verify.
If such most basic functions like seed entropy can be trusted, verified, tested, where does that put normal users ?
I'm by far an expert, but neither average, I bought, used dedicated HW wallets since most advice told me creating your own (high entropy) seed is a complex (at least not trivial task) and main stream HW wallets where good at that function, tested, peer reviewed, etc. Etc.
I'm really disappointed 🤷‍♂️

I'm in no way a smart mind.
It took me some time to realize decentralized was THE main property in the Blocksize war. Looking back a "no brainer", at the time when I needed to reason about it on my own it wasn't easy.....
"Changing" the protocol has, and always will be, the biggest risk to Bitcoin from the inside.
I have no clue how to fix it else than thinking how to "freeze" the base layer ASAP...
My basic thinking:

I just checked my excel sheet I started some 2 cycles ago.
It plots different price trajectory I thought where feasible.
Last ath and current 'low' where 'exactly' the least optimistic trajectory I thought possible...
So either I was too positive or we just had a meager Bitcoin cycle.....
My trajectory follows current formed pattern and does not include, an in my mind likely/unavoidable, breakout when demand outstrip supply for a longer time...
It was an attempt to be my 'realistic/base line' prediction I can base my long term planning on.

It is "interesting" to see how fast we "accepted" the language of the POTUS to use things like:
"Terminate a civilization."
"Bomb the shit out of them."
And so on 😬
Language does have a huge impact..
But it goes way deeper.
It should have been absolutely clear Biden had mental problems.
But somehow it was fully acceptable he was still POTUS.
I even personally had discussions with several people who would look me straight into the eyes and tell me he had a sharp mind, and would clearly become agitated if I would try to point out the opposite....
It was one of those things that needs time to sink in when those discussion happen to me...
Things like this make you realize how strong a believe can influence ones thoughts, even discard/false interpretation own observations..
And most of us have to admit we are not above making those mistakes ourself.
It's not easy but all of us should spend more time on verify and not just trust.

The problem is they are too often the "least" trustworthy people, but pretty good to obscurify it.....
Take the time to get clear the legislation that applies to 'your money' you park in a bank...
It's factually not yours anymore.
Everyone is free to make up their own mind about the risk you are factually taking.
Please read up on the Cypress banking crisis to get just one sample of what can happen.
At least most got some of their money back....

Most don't take the time to go through those numbers.
Interest/inflation is about THREE things:
1) The procentage number
2) The time involved
3) The principal
Your pension savings will by far be longest running AND the biggest principal for most.
Making the NEGATIVE effect of inflation on your pension savings for most by far the biggest number compared to all other things (yes including your mortgage).
It is a crime for that reason that it is almost never mentioned!!!!
(Most pension funds in Europe are a centralized form, and the exact working, numbers, costs are very hard to get on the clear !)
It has either one of these two major effects:
1) You are robbed of MOST of your saved buying power that you pour into your pension savings over its total time (check yourself).
2) You/pension fund, start to use your pension savings to GAMBLE (you can call it all you want but if not a savings account you add risk, even that savings account is not as safe as many believe)
In many cases the POSSIBLE gains made by gambling are taxed, if the pension itself is not taxed...
I won't even start what those pension funds (in Europe most are forced to participate in some centralized fund, that itself is forced by government to participate in bonds buying etc. etc.) Charge you for participation 🤢
The system is so insane most don't want to know, and I can understand.......

There are 2 possible reasons for such behavior.
1) they want to force their ideas of what is correct on others, and if that would be related to how they are treated is one thing, but if it is related to what others can see or say is just plain censor.
2) they have problems with their own rules and are afraid that just the temptation of something available is too much for them to stick to their own rules.....
Of course BOTH is also possible...
