The end goal is not to lose your Bitcoin, self-custody is just a means to an end.
If not, why would bitcoiners sacrifice their own custody to split their keys between multiple third parties (losing single ownership), or even hold them in a federation, like liquid (more private).
Hiding your holdings from the government is a way to protect them as well.
You could get forced by the government to pay any arbitrary portion of your holdings, even in a fixed rate like they did with gold with Executive order 6102. And yes, there are many countries you can go to jail by not paying taxes. US is one of them, and many others in Europe.

this is global. mining pools would start by filtering AML flags out of blocks.
they keep hunting down mining companies that and even get rewarded when they comply. they manage to take over 51% hashrste and since then, drop blocks that include invalid transactions. the rest of the miners either fork or start complying to prevent there blocks to be orphaned and become part of the problem.

- permanently studies it in an holistic manner (libertarian)
- rebel against the system
- supports open source / freedom tech
- think about it at least 6 times a day.
It's basically an activist that promotes Bitcoin as a movement, rather than just an investment or tech.
His BTC bags would probably be used to protect and make Bitcoin unstoppable.
We are probably a couple of thousands in the whole world.
The alternative is just being a regular BTC investor. Most people will fall in this category.
