@nprofile…v6pq if you do, watch the label cause some of them contain fluorocarbons or other gay chemicals. i have some budesonide steroid nasal spray that i bought in case of covid but never used. idk maybe that would be something to try.
i have found recently that eating in the evening after about 5 pm, especially carbs, causes me to wake up with more inflammation in my face overnight and sleep worse.

@nprofile…v6pq there's nothing you can smoke that will improve the condition of your sinuses. it's only going to cause inflammation and more mucous and suppress your immune response to any infections. if you have a chronic infection try some colloidal silver nasal spray. if it's just allergies idk but smoke is an irritant. not going to help at all
whatever helps you quit tobacco i guess is ok temporarily but overall just not a fix for runny nose

i do this just by rolling up bits of masking tape and shoving it in the holes. i suppose i could get cut strips of different diameter foam tubing also and push it in there. i have done that before and it works, but it's just a hassle to keep all that on hand

the epoxy i sprayed yesterday cured nicely under the fume hood. adhesion looks good. one coat should be fine for now and if any rust pits appear i may do a top coat

i sprayed epoxy on the door and rocker panel of the acura when i fixed the crash damage and it's held up well. i used the urethane on the civic engine bay and sprayed clear over part of it, and so far no problems.
incidentally i got under the civic today to check some stuff and was pleasantly surprised that the turbo seals aren't leaking oil, now that it's actually running under boost

the urethane primer also gets good adhesion, but it goes on a bit thinner and flatter, and it's easier to chip just due to being thinner. hard to say which is better. probably depends what you're after. for durability the epoxy is good. for a flat sealer coat that you're going to spray color over, like a car, the urethane might work better.

hope these control arms will stay rust-free being exposed to the elements for at least a few years. this epoxy goes on thick and dries pretty hard. i used it on my shop press, and it did get chipped there in a few spots but that's unavoidable when you're banging it with pieces of metal

paint surface prep is done. now i have to decide whether to a) blow another $60 on urethane primer, or b) paint some parts black urethane primer and other parts with gray epoxy primer.
issue is i don't have enough of the black to do the rest of my parts
it doesn't necessarily matter which i use. both will work, but i'd rather have them all be one color. but also don't feel like spending that money on primer that i'm not immediately going to finish
