The big take-away from today is that, especially in Central & Western Vic, this summer will be hot, and it's already bone dry.
There's fuck all water around in dams, creeks and rivers. There's stacks of fuel on the ground, and with the exception of Gariwerd, there's not been a fire through in ages.
If you're out here, then please at least:
- Have a bushfire survival fire plan, including triggers to leave and set places to go for a day or 3
- Get the Vic Emergency App and set alerts around where you live & work
- Talk to your neighbours
