normally I favor such an approach quite strongly.
But in the case, I think the "late stage" prefix really just means "now" and really doesn't add anything useful. People having been identifying the "current" state of capitalism as a problem for a very long time, and we should conclude that it's not "late stage" or "early stage" or anything else-capitalism that's the problem - it's just capitalism, plain and simple.
