Something funny, recently I was told my phones inheret instant messenger was going to discontinued and it recommended I use google messenger in its place.
Not a chance in hell. Asked around for an alternative, found one, had issues setting it up because tech assholes change the UI on things constantly so information on how to fix the hiccups were discussing fixes for older versions of what I am running and newer versions.
Got irritated, and just asked AI. For maximum lulz I asked Gemini for help. That alone is funny, that the practices tech bros have institutionalized made me turn to a robot instead of one of them, but naturally after Gemini walked me through it I told Gemini why I was using this messenger just to see how it reacted.
"Understandable why you wouldn't trust google, many people don't. Here is a list of alternatives to other google services and products."
I am sure it is just because it is programmed to be a helpful robot but the immediate willingness to throw its parent company under the bus kind of stunned me.

Tarble was his name I think. I can't believe that special renewed interest in Dragon Ball frankly. I liked the first Battle of Gods but everything else that has came out has been pretty awful, and the constant assault on Bardock needs to stop. The Bardock Special was good, we don't need him going back in time or a retelling where he supermans Goku off to Earth.
I do have a soft spot for the first few Dragon Ball movies where they tried to retell the events of the main series. That was a neat idea, a shame they gave up on it.

Seed of Might is over rated. I don't think it is bad and support the attempt, but people have been going nuts over it and I've only seen two examples that I would call a significant improvement over the original.
Tree of Might is... not a good story, and frankly they didn't have to do Goku's friends that dirty I mean come on let them beat a few henchmen FFS. But the animation in it was good.

1. Trump administration estimated 540K in January, which is easily topped by FDR, Eisenhower and Nixon.
Eisenhower deported 1.3 million in 1954 alone and there are a lot more of them in the country now than there were then. Hardly the 'most ever' and people are right to view it as mostly toothless.
2. Trump was extremely critical of a cavalier attitude towards Iran during the Obama years leading up to the general election against Hillary. I would say that his more cautious approach towards foreign policy was a major contributer to getting people to vote for him in both 2016 and 2024, and those people aren't wrong to be upset with this recent development- though I will say anyone upset with his decorum now who wasn't in the past is just stupid. He's always been like that.
3. Epstein e-mails were released, after Trump hemmed and hawed about them for the first year he was in office going so far as to call them a Democrat hoax. Many of the names in these e-mails have been censored and legal action against politicians and celebrities who participated in Epstein's activities have yet to have any kind of consequences brought upon them.
That last one is the most aggregious failing of the Trump administration for me personally. Unforgiveable in fact.
