Conventional medicines told me to take medications!
4 days later following conventional medicines.
And I did end up worse than I started!
So I took it upon myself to research the medicines they prescribed to me!
My jaw dropped!
They prescribed to address the symptoms and not the root cause.
The worse part?...
The long term effects of taking those pills would mean I will be worse off and DEPENDENT on the drug!
I refused..!
So now, I stop the medications. I can feel myself again!
Conventional medicines do help for emergency. But I refused to put myself in the hands of people who themselves are gambling with my body.
I have no qualms with the modern medicines.
It saves lives. But to BLINDLY follow what they say because of fear mongering, I refused!
Esp if there is an incentives to keep the populace ill!
I'd rather make my own choices!
So I am using natural remedies — from nature!

To complain is easy. To do something about it takes a lot of patience, wisdom and focus.
I have interacted with some people offline who complain about their life, how difficult to find a job or how life happened to them!
But when I start to ask about what are they doing to improve or lessen the burden with the available resources they have, they make so much mental gymnastics.
You can b*tch around about life. But you can only do what you can control.
When you stop blaming your circumstance on others, you will be surprised that no one is holding you back but YOU. And only then you can see(open your eyes) more opportunities you thought you couldn't have.
You can stay a victim of your circumstance or start working on how to live life worthy of you.

that is ok lol. If I can share 1 example on how to draw boundary. If someone asks for something and you have a funny hold on your stomach/gut, listen to it.
Do not right away answer, take a pause... you can either say, "maybe" or "let me get back with you on that". It is not a straight "No" because some people need practice to say this word. The above is a small step forward. ☺️ As you get comfortable and confident, you can then slowly say "No". 🫂

💪 💯 spot on. this is how I also operate. I also noticed some people are getting subtle at crossing boundaries. it starts with little "joke only". Then it becomes a pattern — making a joke at your expense. if you are not attentive to it, it can be a sign of passive aggressive. regardless, it is better to catch them in the act and ask them of their behaviour if they intend to do x or y. This put the court back at them. I am with you when giving people the chance after you communicated your boundary. 🫂
But sometimes, if they always drain you, good riddance is your best shot. It's better to spend your energy to those who deserve your company — the one that uplifts you and keep you growing. ☺️

But some people will continue to test your limits.

how much do you know your body?
Are you aware that your body is running in a budget? It is surprisingly efficient!
Each budget affects how we feel, how we interact with people and how productive we are.

When you only had 3 hours sleep and when you go to work the next morning, you feel like lashing out at everyone. You are in short fuse.
To women who are going through their menstrual cycle, we can be very moody, that we prefer to retreat from society with less interactions as much as possible.
This is a result of our body in optimisation mode. It is deprioritising external interactions so we can survive for the day or the entire cycle.
Now why does this matter? I am sharing this because it affects our emotions. It massively affect how we show up for ourselves, our work and the people around us.
Understanding your body is crucial if you want to understand your emotions — your body's budget.
If you are unaware of your emotions, you are at the mercy of others who prey on it.

I did not expect to get this hilarious interaction.
I waa gobsmackes of the response.
I was in a group of people in a table chatting with each other. Except for one individual.
Here's how it happened:
Myself and a bloke is immersely chatting about a training. My partner is immersely chatting with another bloke about tech.
Except for this individual. This individual wanted to join the convo and said:
"I want to get involved".
So I responded:
"ok, so what is your question?"
The individual responded: "nothing"
and I replied: " if you want to join the convo, ask questions and get curious".
The reason why I am sharing this with you because:
1. people do not always want to leave you out of the conversation. Instead of thinking: "oh I am being left out". Ask yourself, "how can I contribute to this convo or at least learn from the convo if the subject is something new to you".
2. Not everyone will always ask what you think or serve you a silver platter to get you talking. Even if they are curious about you, if you have nothing to ask them back the convo will be a dead end.
Social interactions are complex. But like anything, it starts with curiosity and with an open mind.

I love this a lot! Shops like this is going to be in demand in the distant future.
Some people are losing their social skills for spending too long on the screen. If you are already uncomfortable speaking with people, running away from them is not helping you either.
Baby steps. Interact one person a day offline. Start with simple hi and hello. Small chat. Think of one non-intrusive question that you can ask someone and get curious.
The way to change is replacing old habits with a new one, baby-step, every day.

the answer is NO. Esp when it comes to someone you deeply care. It is much worse when they are thousand miles away from me with different time zones.
The reason I am sharing this with you because you do not know someone's struggles. They may appear happy in the outside, outgoing and always smiling. But inside they maybe shattered inside.
We cannot save nor help everyone. But you can at least try to be there for the people that matters to you.
Do not let their online persona get in the way and assume they are ok. Reach out, be there for them, listen without judgement. Give them your undivided attention before it is too late.
And if you are reading this feeling the weight of the world, permanent solution to a fleeting challenges is not the answer.
You are here for a reason and your Higher Self is there to guide you. All you need is simply ask and "intently listen". You'll be surprised that they have been with you every step of the way.

Questions are answers.
I have learned the more I asked the "right" questions, I get the "right" answers!
It goes without saying "right" is subjective to the context I want to know from people. I put the theory to the test over and over again, I always end at the same destination — right context from what I am curious about.
If nobody dares to ask, no one would know how people perceive the world in their lens.
If you are not curious and "willing to give your undivided attention" to that conversations, you would not know.
Funny enough, one noticed in the group that I was the ONLY one who was willing to ask the uncomfortable or unconventional questions beyond the small talk. And I responded, well you never ask me so you never get the answers from me. But it does not mean I am not willing to answer.
Understanding starts from curiosity and undivided attention.

It fascinates me every time my instinct and gift of foresight proves that my prediction is right.
I do not take the pleasure seeing it to be correct when it concerns the lives of others.
If you wonder if I warn them, I don't if the consequences are not that frutile (life or death). But even if I warn people, sometimes they would dismiss it until it is too late.
There are times that intervening would have dire consequences than it originally predicted.
Foresight is not a straight line, sometimes it is vague. It is like a root of a tree that one action has multiple ripple effects, so on and so forth.

I had to think this through. I believe when your partner has a different perception about you and you burst that bubble for them. Had I known it before, my younger self, I'd be confused or even would lash out. But now, I find it fascinating to some extent. It shows that every person you encounter has a story in their head about you. And your partner/lover is no exception to that. What makes this interesting is when you find out that they have different reality about 'you' than what 'you are'. I believe that makes a commitment a constant compromise, communication and adjustment. All you can do is to communicate and let them see it. Sometimes the funny part I tell my partner: stop spending time with the 'version of me' in your head and deal with me in real world LOL 🤣 This banter between us is funny and takes a lot of trust to nurture. ☺️🫂

We all have biases and that is ok. It becomes problematic when we let it run wild, UNCHECKED — UNCHALLENGED!
The more I educate myself about human behaviour esp in the lens of 'the influencers', 'public speakers', 'podcast presenters' and 'social media' as a whole.
It never stops to amaze me how blatant the art of persuasion playing right before your very eyes.
The emotional biases, the logical fallacy and letting your brain infer things that are not there.
When presenters want you to see patterns that are not there or even confirm your own biases, unsuspecting viewers would think it is the real deal. 'I am RIGHT' — common phrase spoken when you find the confirmation of your bias.
If you let it, you can easily believe that everyone is trying to get you, that the world is a hopeless, unkind place.
But what we fail to acknowledge is this:
we see the world how we want it — informed by the very data we want to see.
Instead of acknowledging our own biases, we look for clues to affirm it.
We all have biases and that is ok. It becomes problematic when we let it run wild, UNCHECKED — UNCHALLENGED!
This is when you and I become an easy prey to be manipulated by others and AI chatbot!
Keep your biases in check. Keep your emotions in check my dear readers.
