Spoke with a bunch of people at Bitcoin Conf about this form. Apparently the roll out was a disaster.
Anyway- if you are stuck and need to find your cost basis, Clams will sort it.
The main issue with calculating an accurate cost basis is that you need to have the full transaction history of all your wallets- from exchanges to mobile wallets to cold storage.
Most of us don’t want to hand all of that information over to a hosted platform like Koinly and dox your full stack.
Just use clams. It all stays on your machine. Find that number and fill in the form, done.

I was playing around it a few days ago. From my understanding it’s Claude Code under hood, but with a nice interface and some nice other features like recurring tasks. I’m gonna dig a little more into it.
I mostly just stick with Claude Code in the terminal- but for frontend work the desktop app is excellent as it has the built in preview so it can take screenshots and review it’s work. Otherwise the terminal has to launch chrome with playwright and it’s really unstable for me.

On a clear night- if you just stare at the same spot in the sky for a few minutes you will almost certainly see a satellite moving across. Probably a starlink- but it could be a really old satellite. Some of them flash really bright periodically. It really is insane how we have changed our skies forever.

Nice one. I switched iPhone to greyscale a few days ago. And I set up the Shortcuts app to toggle it off when I open the Camera or Photos app. I already notice I am less interested in the phone. Big win.

A dangerous trend that will almost certainly end with requiring digital ID as a prequisite for internet access.
The digital ID was rolled out in Australia a few years ago. I knew then it was only a matter of time- as down under seems to be testing ground for a lot of this crap.

Yup. If you sign a PSBT with one key and drop it into Sparrow - it does exactly this- verifies that first signature and prompts you to sign the PSBT with one of the other two keys.

In Portugal, if you receive bitcoin as payment, hodl for a year, then there is no cap gains. Adoption has really taken off. Small businesses are happy to take some bitty for some portion of their sales- and then plan to hodl for at least a year. I heard multiple stories- but one stood out about a dentist that was offering discounts if people pay in bitcoin. He did the math and it made sense to him to do this. Would love to see cap gains ditched altogether.

Been perfecting my raw ice cream recipe. Here is my new favorite, salted chocolate:
- 1 cup of raw milk
- 1 cup of raw cream
- 4 egg yolks
- 6 tablespoons of raw honey
- 4 tablespoons of raw cacao
- 4 pinches of sea salt
Throw it all in a blender, and into your ice cream maker. Killer.
