I didn’t understand how badly things could hurt inside of me, until I was yelling in my shower with soap dripping into my eyes at the man who convinced me he would be the safest place for me and the life that came from me- to just be NICE to him and take his emotions seriously. The area was once the big thicket, and there's very small pieces left of the habitat. We have a lot of people coming into the area who are ignorant about the wildlife and how we cohabitate with them. If you are in a neighborhood like mine, you should be driving considerably slow and safe enough that if you were to see a creature you would have more than enough time to check surroundings and navigate dodging it. The roads are large, pretty empty, full of kids and ducks, and we drive slowly.
