I would say is explosions of numbers of Airbnb also.. I can tell you about Italy and Croatia.. massive increase, costs didn't went down, ad demand and tourism is still raising and increasing (at least in the place I am experiencing).
What I did notice in this first 2 months of new summer season is a decline of presence and spending from last year, and the one before (absolute record). Some is thinking about lowering prices if it will not go as expected, but just because they already raised them since last year, and I am talking about accommodations and general services.
