That's where my thinking is at too.
But if all the big protests like "No Kings" require getting permits (which just seems oxymoronical to me, a permit to protest), doesn't that make them rather neutered? I mean, I guess some streets get sectioned off, but its all very controlled and known ahead of time, afaik.
Curious as to your feelings on No Kings, in particular, since there's one tomorrow.

Still can't stop thinking about the video clip I saw of a guy at a Fox Takedown protest saying
"If you're gonna mobilize peoples' precious time and energy, aim them at some part of the Nazi disinformation network...Stop getting people to parks. That's not helping. That won't stop this."
I get that the "this" he is speaking of is the network of which he is speaking, but is a permitted protest in a park effective, or is it just a nice day out?

Using the words "subversive" and "deceptive" are not unkind just because they imply that what you are saying is wrong.
If the Free Software movement is about how source code should be made available (which it is) and you say that you don't need to justify why that is, that's a perfectly good usage of those words.
Instead of responding to questions, all you've done is given a perfectly good example of why the Free Software movement is a failure.

That seems extremely deceptive. The Free Software movement is a political movement, and you're saying to convince people of it without even telling them what it is.
And I have no idea how you expect everyone to share the same idea of "freedom" yet be baffled by the idea of a "right". What four freedoms? Why assume they know that? What does that have to do with source code being made available?
Pretty subversive and deceptive.

I hear what you're saying, that nothing exists in a vacuum, and that there are things that feed back into each other, but I disagree that that makes them "responsible". It sounds like an abusive partner saying "why do you make me hurt you".
If you say that the left and right radicals are inherently responsible for each other, you basically remove all usefulness of the word "responsible".

So right wing radicals are not responsible for their own actions, then?
Would also need a definition of "left wing radicalism" since, in the US at least, many people believe things like universal healthcare are "radical" just because Fox news told them so.

To me it is an indictment against Early Access, that even if a well intentioned dev wants to make promises in good faith, it is still on a platform that is flooded with other devs making empty promises just to sell the game.

I have to side with Steam on this one. Personally I dislike Early Access and I appreciate them saying customers should buy based on the current state, not promises.
Though this is them admitting that "early access" really is just selling an unfinished game, not "early access" to a game that will be finished one day.
