I am looking for an alternative OS for my phone and therefore started following GrapheneOS.
But I’ve read nothing but posts about how Murena and e/os have been hostile and attacking Graphene.
And now this. Apparently someone else is now also be hostile and attacking Graphene.
And there have been posts about how e/os sucks and that Murena are lying about their own security - or lack there of.
This reminds me of teenagers and school yard discussions about whether the Amiga 500 or the ATARI ST was the better computer.
I’m not going to rely on Graphene to power my next phone. They come across as being un-professional.
And this approach from Graphene might hurt others as well. I have been looking at the MC02 from Punkt. But their OS is based on Graphene so that phone is not an option anymore.
I’ll probably go for a Fairphone 5 with e/os.
