My area has a significant problem with this particular pest species of bird which made it here from India somehow. The government used to try culling them, but efforts have sort of dwindled since environmentalism became more about atmospheric compositon than fauna management.
Anyway, they're aggressive birds who gang up and steal other native birds' nesting areas. They shit everywhere and spread avian diseases, they're recognised as one of the top threats to the survival of native species in areas where they invade because they crowd out everything else, and they particularly devastate other birds which depend on slow-forming tree hollows to reproduce, which are vanishingly rare in urbanising areas.
I'm a crazy person who feeds and talks to the native birds that hang around my house and in the past i have gone out of my way to deal with any of these winged poopoo pests i see nearby. I think they've learned to avoid my house, and I've successfully fostered a population of natives who will bully them out of the area on sight as well. There are flocks of them that roost just a few streets away on either side of me, but i havent seen a single one of these nasty tweet pajeets near my house in over 6 months, not even flying overhead.

When I was an unemployed retard with an overpriced degree I used to keep a go-bag of stuff in my car for if I ever wanted to go and see family or just fuck off for a weekend somewhere alone. When i was practically living in my car i could just go somewhere and stay with friends in a different city for months at a time on a whim.
Now, if I want to spend any time away I need to send a request off to someone who doesn't even understand what i do at my job and notify something like 50 people in advance. If i wanted to leave for a couple of months or even a year, i potentially risk losing my assets given enough time with no income. Even just an extended road trip would violently molest my wallet given the cost of everything now.
In hindsight, i was actually closer to aspirational living as a gentleman of leisure free to galavant about the countryside back then, before i started chasing the bag (got in the wagey cagey).

Working for Americans has really highlighted how deeply ugly the US corporate culture has become. There's no faith or trust in upskilling or investing further in high performers. Mangers will more willingly look outwards and engage in cutthroat hiring practices than expend resources internally. People are actively discouraged from stepping outside of their comfort zones to broaden their knowledge, then subjected to hollow, unhelpful corporate training that lies to them and tells them "we're one big happy family and we support each other".

I remember talking to some of my more anti-government kinda friends at the time and they were absolutely losing their shit over Wellcamp. A purpose built, secured, isolated concentration camp located right next to an airport. This is where you were going to get sent if you got caught without proof of vaccination, they said.
There were hugely destructive floods nearby not long after the camp was essentially abandoned by the government, and it was limply offered to people made homeless by the flood's impacts. I remember at the time that the few people who actually accepted the offer were posting videos of it online and showing off how poorly constructed it was and how bad the facilities were. If i remember correctly, some people opted to just go home and sleep in community halls and churches instead.
When we all do finally get rounded up and put in Camp Boondoggle, I hope they at least remember to install wooden doors.

I've been working with this one company for a while that had one of those contracted IT support providers where the pajeets in the basement are just always online and probably do support for multiple companies at once. They were recently making a huge fuss about how they're not going to take calls any more and you have to lodge all issues via a webform that's only available after you click through a pre-prepared troubleshooting FAQ. Just a huge time wasting load of dogshit that's supposed to keep idiot boomers off the phone lines with their non-issues but just ends up making actual issues ten times harder to resolve.
Anyway, they were so militant about not letting people call them or just send emails to them that all the dumb boomers and tech-illiterate zoomies in the company got the shits, the boss hired this one in-house computer nerd honkey to manage hardware, and the pajeet contract never got renewed.
It's not the first time i've seen streetshitting pooniggers trying to bait and switch and underdeliver on their contract scope, but it is the first time I've witnessed a corporate jeet infestation resolve itself and end up with the total number of Indians Inside (tm) actually going down.
