ANGELS UNAWARE (Conclusion)Not long after, an elderly man in a mobility scooter approached. Hoping to redeem myself, I swung open the door for him. He asked the front desk for a long-term room in a feeble, sad voice. The clerk bluntly told him they didn't allow long-term stays. It was heartbreaking to listen to him answer in a soft, whining voice, "Okay, well, I was only just asking..." I silently prayed for him as I opened the door to let his scooter back onto the street.The next morning, I took down a book by F. W. Boreham, The Luggage of Life. I turned to Chapter 5, “Seaside Lodgings.” It told of a family on vacation disappointed by a shabby, unpromising motel. But upon entering, they discovered that the rooms facing away from the drab street opened onto a magnificent scenic view.Boreham wrote: “We then found that what we thought were the fronts of the houses were the backs, and that the fronts faced the bay. They had pretty gardens on the other side, and a glorious, sunny prospect over the ocean.”Sometimes what looks like a shabby exterior to the world opens up to a magnificent, divine perspective on the inside.(End)#Sovereignty #Christian #Writing

ANGELS UNAWARE (Part 2)Recently my family and I decided to take a family road trip. School was about to start, and life would soon return to its usual hectic pace. We rolled into a busy tourist town after a long drive, ready to inspect the motel my wife had booked online, the Angel Inn. Gazing at the large, dated vinyl behemoth of a motel, I began to have misgivings. Chipped concrete, damaged vinyl on the stairway, and a strict no-refund policy made my heart sink.Surprisingly, the room inside appeared clean and sufficient. The next morning, pulling out for our first adventure, my wife noticed a Scripture reference on the sign below the motel's name: Hebrews 13:2. She read it aloud: “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”Over the next few days, I rose early, grabbed a cup of cheap coffee in the cramped lobby, and read the Bible. It proved interesting. The first morning, a young woman was speaking to an officer about her troubles after being robbed by people she thought were friends. The next morning, a woman approached me asking for jumper cables. I felt a twinge of shameful relief saying no, but watched another struggling soul step up to help her without hesitation.(Part 3 below 👇)

I guess I am a "bitcoiner" now... Just a few weeks ago, I didn't even know what that was. But now here I am in a deep dive. Honestly, I do not know anyone else in my life that owns a single satoshi. I have always heard that stereotypes were highly likely to be inaccurate. In this case I hope that is true, because I wouldn't expect the typical bitcoiner to be anything like myself. Are there Christian bitcoiners? Are there bitcoiners that home-school their children?This seems like a good place to start... When I was a kid I went fishing and was amazed that I could actually catch a small bluegill on a bare hook. But, I also found out that I could get many more bites if I brought some sort of offering.
