Yeah everything seems fine from my phone on my wifi. Maybe I'll just try again tomorrow. I also see a "Duplicate Node Key" error on my phone's machine entry, but no idea what I did there (I just installed the app from Play Store..). It's good to hear you haven't seen such an issue, but not helpful if it persists for me! :)

and yeah, login.tailscale.com resolves, then doesn't.. flipping back and forth!

Your /etc/hosts is default (my note, i dont think this is true?) ...
So right now nothing is short-circuiting login.tailscale.com → your system resolver must ask your full DNS chain every time. That’s exactly why ping flips between “works” and “can’t resolve” — you’re at the mercy of how the multiple resolvers in scutil handle the fallback.

@npub1vuf…klt8 Just installed tailscale and it's intermittently failing to let me load the login/admin page. GPT thinks I need a custom etc/hosts entry but ... you might know? 🤔
