Yes and that is the correct way to account for it. Shareholders contributions "in kind" are not uncommon.
The smoking gun for those looking for it is in the unit prices.
Unit price of the shares given to MSFT and NVIDIA, the unit prices of the services sold by MSFT and the unit prices of the GPU sold. Not sure if there is disclosure in that.

There is a limitation in the other direction as well.
#pixelfed can add 8 pictures in a post but #Mastodon will only show the first 4
From what I remember there will be a small text in the post saying "there is xx picture in this post". When you see that you can go to the original post to see the rest
