Basically, the process of shedding KYC for fiat transactions within those banks must be a very well known process in order for 99.9% of all criminal financial activity to avoid capture, fines, or prosecution.
We well understand the tools and process of shedding KYC in Bitcoin, but have very little understanding of how those three banks do it.
Do you know how? Is it common knowledge? LLMs don’t appear to know or are configured to avoid revealing the details of how (unlike the level of details they share about how CoinJoin works).

Is bank selection all that it takes for 99.9% of fiat criminal to circumvent AML? Sounds too simple to be true.

Well said. Cloudflare services are used for free by most of the internet every day. DNS, WAF, CDN, and much more.
Big enterprise customers pay for the best services from them, but Cloudflare gives so much of their services away for free to smaller shops (which we appreciate).
While servingbitcoin.com does sell-host on the very hardware that we sell, we use free Cloudflare services to help protect our nodes from the worst of the internet.
Disruptions are frustrating. But Cloudflare is a net positive for smaller business like us.
There just are not many other alternatives at their price point of free.

That is too slow. Likely bottlenecks:
- storage: NVMe > SSD > HDD
- storage connection: M.2 > SATA > USB
- Network: Wired > WiFi

Thank you. We got it sorted out by installing self-hosted @nprofile…x6g9 on one of our nodes, and then using Nostr Wallet Connect (NWC) to configure Primal. Sent you a test of 21 sats. Looks like it went through.

It depends on what hardware you run and if any other workloads are also running. For many, less than $10 per month if they are running something like this.

Today the blockchain will fit on 1 TB. If you want your node to remain a full node for years to come, 2 TB is recommended.

You can run a node on a wide variety of hardware and software.
In general:
- 1 CPU Intel/Amd/Arm
- 8 GB memory
- 1 TB storage SSD/NVMe
- internet
- power

When you do decommission your old node, consider factory resetting it and giving it to another bitcoiner to get them started in self hosting.
