@npub1mtk…ka52 Well, it was definitely over-ripe but it wasn't mushy or anything, just huge. It'd be cool if I could get orange cucumbers but I think it was just because it was left out for a long time before I noticed it lol (I'm saving the seeds anyway, so we'll see what happens)
Orange eggplant! :blobeyes: I got a few small eggplant last year but none germinated for me this year (and I don't like it as much as other veggies anyway, so I didn't really mind lol).

Oh, most of my potato plants have been dying off for a while now (there's one row that's still hanging on, but they're basically done). However, I found a couple of potato plants that popped up in last year's potato bed so I might have a few surprise potatoes later this autumn. Didn't you plant a lot of potatoes? What kind(s) did you plant?

Aw, sad, did you end up getting any before the frost? There've been some cool nights here that have killed a few of my cucumber plants but the other squashes are alright (for now). I just found out a week ago that I have at least one pumpkin :blobaww: but I'm not sure how much time we'll have before it's too cold here :cryingcat:
On that topic, though - here's some giant cucumbers (I failed to notice that they were growing into the grass and... well that giant ORANGE one tipped me off, and then I found more... :blobeyes:)
Also, a picture just for you of *another* surprise sunflower plant that popped up in the yard :blobcatdance:

so I've probably had more wine than beer :cirnoShrug:

:blobcatdance: GARDENPOSTING: Tomatoes Edition :blobcatdance:
I started... a lot of tomatoes. 89/100 cells of san marzano and romas germinated, transplanted to pots, and were transplanted outside when it was warm enough. A few of them didn't make it, but most of them did and more than a few of those had two plants in one cell/pot (I didn't kill off the smaller ones in a cell/pot "like you're supposed to"). There are also 10 cherry tomato plants (again, multiples in a pot, so more than 10 but it was 10 pots). Most of them are very happy :blobcatdance: One bed seems to have been attacked by some sort of mold/ fungus but it looks like the plants are recovering. There's also some basil, oregano, sage, some mints, etc growing around there... and a LOT of borage (which is very pretty) to keep the tomato hornworms away :blobcatdance:
:blobcatdance: I WILL HAVE ALL THE TOMATOES MWHAHAHA :blobcatdance:
OH and two (romas or san marzano) tomato plants that I took cuttings from last year and kept indoors all winter, growing all weird and spindly, are somehow alive and well outside! :blobeyes:

I was serious about letting the weeds in the onions/garlic get out of hand (I mean, it's mostly grass around it, but it's been very rainy and it just kinda took off) :cryingcat: The onions are doing fine though! Some of my onions that survived from last year's poor growth (not pictured) are also still alive and flowering! :blobcatdance:

And since your weather/ growing area seems similar: Do you start onion seeds (for the next year) in the ground in the fall (when if so), or do you start them indoors in something and transfer them out in the spring, or something else?

I haven't been to a hairdresser since... high school, probably?
I have very simple very straight hair and I just cut/ trimmed my hair and bangs straight across so it was always pretty easy for me. Though it did take a few times of trimming them too short to shock me into being very careful of where to trim them! Really short bangs looked so bad on me :0171:
So I was just going to cut some simple, straight bangs, and all I was really looking for was "where do I start them on the top of the head" because I didn't want them to look like children's bangs.
I didn't think everyone would make it so complicated lol :blobconfused:

You know, the biggest reason I let them grow out in the first place was because they were cursed to get more greasy and unruly than the rest of my hair, but I'm pretty sure I can get past that now. Also, I already looked super young and the bangs made me look like a kid, lol. I figure now at least I probably can't look like a kid... probably? :0171:
