BTW, if you buy more fountain pens (and you will!), there are many good cheap Chinese ones available. I have a JinHao that is a pleasure to write with, despite being like one-fifth of the price of some other pens I own.

Refill cartridges are quick and easy if you like the available ink colors. If you want to use fancy inks (I like Pilot’s Iroshizuku ink), a converter is usually necessary. I use both.

This is pretty cool! A San Francisco band called Sleepbomb make their own original alternate scores for movies, and their next one is for Conan the Barbarian, called “Songs in the Key of Conan.”
They just released a performance video of the first two songs of the album.

Folks selling Kindle books, you should know that Amazon now offers the option to allow EPUB and PDF downloads of DRM-free books.
The option is presented when adding new books to Kindle, but for existing titles you have to opt-in for each of them to allow these new file formats.

Finished watching the third and final season of Chucky. I actually really liked it, it was fun!
Child’s Play was always kind of a “mid” horror franchise, but the series makes it better. It adds a lot to the lore, follows up with pretty much every character from all the movies (ever wonder what happened to the kid from the first movie, Chucky’s nonbinary kid, or Jennifer Tilly?), the gore is surprisingly good for cable TV, and it’s amazingly LGTB+-friendly.

On a friend’s recommendation I watched Messiah of Evil (1974). Much of the movie is quietly weird, and reminded me a bit of Carnival of Souls. The three main actresses were gorgeous. The film had a very unique and ominous pre-apocalyptic vibe.
