I suspect that anything but co-sleeping is traumatizing to a child. In a culture that leaves you to your own, and during this time of mass confusion, it makes sense that parents might think it "ok" just like they thought it was ok to inject each other with experimental pharma in 2021.
Sleep training is surely the worst approach. I recall a nanny in a Latin American country crying to my wife that our American friends, whom she worked for, would allow their 2 yo to cry in its own bed for a hour. This concept is completely foreign to much of the world and our indigenous ancestors (pre "expert" era) would surely find it evil. Isn't this the problem of experts- that acting in consensus they can invert reality!?
The kids have so much going against them nowadays. I encourage parents to figure it out and enjoy the love and fun of co-sleeping. Your kids will never forget it- deep in their hearts- even if growing up erases their mental memory of it.

I used to be a microbiome maxi over a decade ago. I was big into fermented foods, even started a food company around it.
Then Carnivore kinda changed my life when I realized that animal based foods are the most nutrient dense foods on the planet. However, I learned that animal based can be detrimental to the microbiome... eventually. I learned that endotoxins will literally poison you and that beneficial gut bacteria make cool things vitamins and IGF1 (nature's Ozempic).
So I've come full circle. nutrient density maxi + microbiome maxi.
That means adding foods to my animal based diet like resistant starch (cooked and cooled pasta, potatoes, beans). Fermented veggies. Emphasizing plants that are good for the biome like mushrooms, artichoke, asparagus, garlic, onions, green ish banana. Add psyllium husk (nature's Ozempic) for appetite control. It's not a bad way to eat.

It's pretty easy to discover if you mouth breathe more than you think you do.
During the day, just tape your mouth shut using medical tape for at least 10 minutes. Or just seal your lips.
If you feel "different" at all, you're mouth breathing way more than you realize. That feeling is your body adapting in real time to new conditions like higher co2. I only share this with you because I realized it for myself.
Mouth breathing (aka shallow breathing) impairs circulation and does lots of other crumby stuff. If you play sports or surf, shallow mouth breathing throughout the day negatively impacts your potential.

Found this oldie from the 50s. People have been surfing in Peru for a long time. I've been to Chicama before and man what a crazy wave. Went back in 2006 before development. I remember we ate at the same place every meal and the owner of our hostel was drugged out, and holed up in his room the entire time. If you have kids they should be chewing gun daily for jaw development. Start as soon as possible. Have seen significant pallet widening in my 4yo over the course of months. This is the time to mold faces, while their bones are still plastic.
I like Falim or Bubble Yum for the simple ingredients and tough chewiness.

Sitting shapes us the most because it's where we spend the most time. By sitting on the line (of gravity), we shape ourselves in accordance with nature.
Observations of photo (1931): Butt cheeks back so she's sitting on pubic bone allows her to stack spine. No sway back (pushing chest out and up). Her shoulders and arms are relaxed. Spine is relaxed stacked.

If I'm drinking at home I'm usually drinking these "small" wine soda things I make by fermenting pineapple scraps and a little honey. The wild fermentation happens naturally thanks to the bacteria and yeasts living on the fruit. After about 2-3 days it's slightly sour, slightly alcoholic (0.5-2%), slightly effervescent.
Fermentation increases antioxidants by making them more bioavailable, plus the probiotics and acids mean it's healthy. Pineapple also contributes bromelain.
This could never be sold in stores for various reasons and needs to be artisan made outside of an over-regulated country or just made at home. It stores in the fridge in air tight containers for weeks, and will continue to carbonate and ferment but slower.

National Geographic photos from the 50's give me lots of examples aligned spines. The majority of people lived in alignment during that era. These photos are good examples of the kind of "straightness" I'm talking about.
✅ Hinging from the hips.
✅ Hips back, spine extended straight, chin tucked.
✅ Relaxed.

Another example of good alignment below on this air craft carrier from the 50's. All of these people have way more developed glutes than moderns pancake people. Glutes can tell you a lot about your posture/spinal integrity. You won't find natural alignment without waking up and building the glutes.

You can either confirm someone, deny them, or disconfirm them. According to communication theorist and psychologist those are the three options. Disconfirming is the most dehumanizing.

Honestly my teacher says the folding chairs from Costco or wherever, ideally padded 😆. Then optional- roll up a towel or about 3 inches thick and sit on the front half of it. So your cheeks are elevated on it, and your public bone is down near the chair . This helps you tip your pelvis. Otherwise flat chairs are fine.
This is for an upright "floating" style. You can also use the back of the chair but that requires a bit more instruction. Same principle with pubic bone down. I'll try to get some pictures up soon.

To sit comfortable for long periods of focused work, you want to be sitting on your pubic bone (never your tailbone- which causes all your issues).
That means butt cheeks out and behind you (feels like Donald Duck). Your weight rests down on your pubis bone or gooch area and your body relaxed. Your spine will stack, and with practice you can "float" there for hours without tension.
Of course there are other details like ribs tucked and and back of the head up. And be sure not to stick out your chest in "good posture" .....cause it's not. But stacking on pelvis correctly is the foundation. Hit me up for more details.

What resources are you providing? Mining equipment and knowledge? They way it usually works is your team owns and operates the mine, possibly hiring a few locals, and that's about it except for some money flowing into the economy via food and housing purchases.
Maybe I'm missing something but does your thinking presumes "build it and they will come" ? when the reality is that most people aren't interested, trusting of it, especially when their main culture disregards it . Being a black sheep is for the few, but yes the black sheep exist everywhere and in every culture.
But IMO and based on tipping point theory, the only people anyone should be focused on helping are the black sheep, the few that already get it. From there critical mass builds and eventually tips the rest of them into following....since they will be following in all circumstances
