It's perfect for very occasional use. It runs in a tiny footprint.

@nprofile…amf2 @nprofile…5yxp what was lost was the only easy api which could keysend boosts and stream sats.
Whilst their API was public they largely made it irrelevant when they stopped their wallet service.
In addition, specifically affecting me, even though I set up an Alby hub on my own lightning node, I couldn't use apps like Podverse and Castomatic because they geo block Israel.
They completly screwed podcasting 2.0 and made it harder for me to implement my version of their api.

I'm a week late listening to @nprofile…5yxp on Podcasting 2.0.
What a pity @nprofile…60s3 and @nprofile…u49x banned Israel from Alby: I had a drop in replacement for a non custodial keysend wallet almost ready to go.
And even now I can't do the work to turn it on because testing without Alby during the transition is impossible FOR ME.
Alby completly screwed the entire world of Podcasting 2.0 and nobody should trust them for any business critical process.

Finally in the process of copying my 1TB SSD from my old Umbrel lightning node to a new 2TB.
I still use the old node as my dev environment. Really hoping it comes back tomorrow when the new disk is finished.

That's about right, i last purged the database 15 days ago I think.
I don't like to let it grow for ever.

I need help with an architecture decision.
I need to read value blocks and display them in my client side web app. I think I have the following path:
Use PI for search and get value blocks from PI. I probably have to proxy this through my api server.
Add extra step of looking at the xml directly from the web client.
Or Parse the xml rss feed on the api server to verify.
For time value splits I probably will use @npub1ln5…xyw6 guid episode endpoint.
Does this sound reasonable?
