This book made me realise how Americanised I've become. It wasn't the book's intention of course, it was showing me how funny, light-hearted, down-to-earth and friendly my people can be. Instead I've grown partial to American big corp and their algorithms. Everything is BIG and globalised. The geopolitical sphere will always be there, but the problems will be there forever, regardless of the money.
I find myself caring about 'stuff' I know nothing about. And it's really fucked with my nervous system.
I don't think I'm anti-USA. I think its culture has been forced into other cultures and blurred the lines on what each country stands for.

I haven't used it. Although, I presume it runs through tokens very fast!? I see it's only available until 7th July, which is why I haven't bothered yet -- just waiting to see what the next line of FOMO marketing anthropic want to do before actually releasing it properly.

End of an era. I once snapped a PS2 Tekken disc on Christmas Day - because they'd changed the case from 'pop out' to 'push and pop out' and I just pulled to snap it at 4am. The failure mode of vibe-coding is you type a prompt, react, type another, react. Context fills up and decisions get lost. One feature breaks another feature and nobody remembers why either was built. You start fighting the LLM. and inevitably get slop
I think the fix isn't a better prompt. It's structure on disk.
CLAUDE.md, PLAN.md, LEARNINGS.md. Specialist sub-agents. Documented UX specs.
I've spent soo much on tokens but I think this is the most economic way to do it because each agent can perform a task using specific models depending on the level of 'intellect' the model needs.
The better organised the LLM, the more cohesive the output. Anyway, that's it really. Wish i'd known sooner.

Bitcoin Core and Bitcoin Knots share the same package ID on StartOS (bitcoind). The registry keys everything off that ID, so as far as it's concerned Knots and Core are the same "package" just different implementations.
The community registry sees your installed bitcoind and offers Knots as an "update"
"View installed" correctly resolves to Bitcoin Core, because that's what's actually running under that package ID
It's the only community-registry service showing green because it's the only one whose package ID matches something you already have installed
Start9 confirmed this explicitly around the 29.1 release: due to a bug in StartOS 0.3.5.1, Knots and Core will both display as having an update available in the "Updates" tab, and they added that they're not trying to trick anyone into switching implementations.
Don't click update. There's a migration guard in place, upgrading from Knots to Core (and vice versa) is prohibited and the install will fail with a migration error. So at worst you'd get a failed install rather than an accidental switch, but it's still worth ignoring the prompt.
