Why does MONEYFORK cost 70€ (Early Bird) or 100€?
I get this question a lot, and the honest answer isn't a marketing trick.
Look at what's in the box: 272 cards. 12 block cards with a dry-erase surface for the physical blockchain. 6 player boards, also writable. A foldable world map, 600×400mm, dry-erase front. 186 tokens. 2 dice. 2 whiteboard markers. 3 booklets.
For comparison: strategy games with this component count typically retail for 50-70€. On Kickstarter, with special components like dry-erase coating, comparable projects often land higher.
Two things most people overlook:
First: about 27% of every euro pledged through Kickstarter disappears immediately — platform fee, payment processing, German VAT. Before a single card gets printed.
Second: the first production run is 500 units. That's not mass production. I'm not a big publisher ordering 20 or 50k units and driving the per-unit cost down. Small batches mean higher per-unit costs — that's basic economics of scale, not padding.
So MONEYFORK at 70€ isn't inflated. It's the real cost of a full-scope strategy game, produced in a small batch, under actual Kickstarter conditions.

Today I’m heading to Prague.
BTC Prague 2026. My first time at this conference. Europe’s biggest Bitcoin event — and honestly, I have no idea what to expect. But I’m excited to find out.
I’m going as someone who spent a year building something and is now taking it out into the world.
MONEYFORK. The first German-language Bitcoin strategy game. Bitcoiner vs Nocoiner. A physical blockchain on the table. Event cards based on real Bitcoin history. A game that teaches Bitcoin without teaching it.
No booth. No stage. Just showing up, having conversations, meeting people. Showing the game when the moment feels right.

Wie orange pillst du jemanden, der einfach nicht zuhören will?
Mein Vater hat sich vor ein paar Jahren Bitcoin-Videos auf YouTube angeschaut. Danach war für ihn klar: Scam, Blase, nichts dahinter. Kein Argument hat ihn erreicht. Nicht von mir, nicht von anderen.
Ich hab es trotzdem versucht. Artikel. Gespräche beim Abendessen. Sogar einen Podcast hab ich angefangen – halb für die Community, halb in der Hoffnung, dass er reinhört.
Nichts.
Das Problem ist nicht Information. Jeder Bitcoiner kennt das. Wir haben die Fakten. Wir haben die Geschichte. Wir haben die Daten. Und trotzdem: Wer sich einmal entschieden hat, nicht zuzuhören, dem prallt alles ab.
Menschen ändern sich nicht durch Argumente. Durch Erleben schon.

Juli 2025, Türkei. Urlaub mit der Familie. Kopf endlich frei.
Irgendwann kam die Idee: Was, wenn ich aufhöre zu erklären – und stattdessen einfach spielen lasse?
12 Monate später steht MONEYFORK auf dem Tisch.
Das erste deutschsprachige Bitcoin-Strategiespiel. Bitcoiner gegen Nocoiner. 2–6 Spieler. 60–90 Minuten. Physische Blockchain, echte Marktmechaniken, Wissensfragen zu Bitcoin und Fiat – alles drin.
War die Entwicklung einfach? Nein. Ein Brettspiel zu bauen, das gleichzeitig Spaß macht, mehrfach spielbar ist, ausgewogen ist und dabei wirklich etwas beibringt – das ist ein anderes Tier, als ich erwartet hatte.
Mein Vater hat das Spiel gespielt.
Er ist kein Bitcoiner (noch). Aber er hat eine Hot Wallet. Ein paar Sats drauf. Und er stellt jetzt Fragen, wenn wir uns im Videocall sehen.
Für mich: Mission erfüllt.

Mitte November haben wir das Bitcoin Standard Game mit der Bitcoin-Community getestet.
Version 4. Auf dem Tisch. Ohne Schonung.
Das Ergebnis?
Weniger Regeln. Mehr Flow. Mehr Spielgefühl.

Was sich verändert hat:
• Physische BTC-Coins statt Zettelwirtschaft
• Eine große Weltkarte statt fragmentierter Regionen
• Zwei Modi: Einsteiger & Experten – leicht rein, tief drin
• Schnellere Züge, klarere Entscheidungen
Das Spiel fühlt sich jetzt so an, wie es sich anfühlen muss:
