The Lord of the rings, Elidor, The Owl Service, The Dark is Rising, The Wizard of Earthsea.. All brilliant children's books. I read the book aged 8 and saw the film at 11. To this day I still absolutely love it. The voice acting, watercolour landscapes, the fantastic musical score. I've just found out that the score was composed by Angela formerly Wally, a trans woman!!! OMG, that's ruined it for me. Of course I'm not being serious, I expect Angela was just getting on with their life, composing and performing music and not abusing women online or pissing on Suffragette statues in London.
