Its telling that most of the "bitcoin maximalists" ive interacted with are FAR more concerned with bitcoins price than they are with anythings else. Most maximalists come off as evangelical bag holders rather than people who support the goal the tech was designed to achieve. Bitcoin is #1 because "its good for the price" is a vastly different position than bitcoin is #1 because "it is the best chance at replacing the corrupt traditional financial system".

Comfortable demoralized people will never revolt. Most people would rather be semi-comfortable slaves waiting to be culled rather than risk losing their slave quarters and rations.
"If I dont take the experimental gene therapy injection being pushed by the Epstien class than ill lose the job I hate"
"If I dont comply with the draft and go fight the Epstien classes latest war then I might end up in jail"
"If I dont tag myself and get muh digital ID then I wont be able to drive, smoke or buy beer"
"If I dont pay the property taxes for the house I claim to own then my masters in the Epstien class will take it from me"
The vast majority of people have been so conditioned into their slavery that the thought of not complying or seeking a better alternative terrifies them. More than just loving and fearing the boot they find joy in watching the boot come down on those who dare not comply.

Until we reach a critical mass of coordinated people willing to fight back with non-compliance and force if necessary than we are all just larping.
For me personally its hard to get anyone to give up even the slightest convenience even when the result of not doing so is something terrible. If we could get half a town to flat out refuse to pay property tax there isnt much they can do but in reality you'd be lucky to get one other household to agree to it. The discussion around things like digital ID really spell this problem out if you take the time to read through them. You'll see sentiment lik "yea, I know digital ID will effectivly turn me and my children into slaves but what am I gonna do, not get an ID? How would I drive or buy booze?". I fear too many people are both mentally defeated and currently tok comfortable for us to reach the necessary critical mass any such resistance movement would take.

I care, that's why I mentioned it. One account muting or blocking another account is a welcome feature and isnt censorship. A platform muting, blocking or shadowbanning an account because that account is saying things the platform doesn't like.....or worse, because they were told to by a government or some other institution IS censorship and IS a problem worth caring about.

Its no coincidence that all of the organizations bitcoin was made to combat are now embracing it as an asset/store of value. They know full well what they are doing. The crypto-bro/moon-boy/wen lambo crowd are the biggest threat to bitcoin. They have proven time and again that they are more than willing to sell out the features that make bitcoin great(decentralization, censorship resistance, etc) if it means "number go up".
