Grrreat news! We've just moved 13 of Tunera's fonts from Gitlab to Codeberg (a git hosting service based in Berlin). That was a lot of work because many specimens were also updated and some font files re-exported. We hope that everything is working correctly!

because (AFAIK) there was a vote in the Wikipedia community to decide wether to keep the deadnames of trans people in bios (in order to keep consistency with former articles). Some trans people and allies heard of it and flooded the discussion, after which they were accused of brigading and mostly blocked out. So the vote swinged towards keeping the deadnames of trans people.

Tunera Type Foundry's 2024 annual report! This year we released three typefaces (Amakan, Tanklager and Choso) and slightly updated one (Lobular). Tunera's website was visited more than 90 thousand times and our fonts were downloaded more than 30 thousand times. Only two fonts by our foundry appeared on Fonts In Use, and not many appear in web results, which means that even if designers are massively downloading our fonts, not many are properly crediting them... 1/5

When you make an explicity Solarpunk font and it's presented last on a list of open-source solarpunk-adjacent typefaces, it feels a bit frustrating.
