Back in 2023, somebody tried to swat me and my family. My wife, kids, and I had just come back from a late night bike ride when the police showed up at our apartment. When they first knocked and exclaimed who they were, I opened the door and security door slightly (my mistake) to find out why there were 2 police officers at my door. They explained that somebody called and reported they could hear my kids yelling and crying, and they could hear somebody yelling "I'm going to kill the kids". After the cops finished explaining this, I asked them who called. They said they couldn't tell me. I told them this whole thing was bullshit and promptly shut and locked the door. They didn't immediately leave, and while standing at my closed door, asked a few times through the door to "just open the door so we can see that your kids are ok". I refused once and then stopped responding to their requests. They left after 3 minutes or so.
I have just submitted a FOIA request regarding this incident, and hope to obtain the CAD report and call trascript. I intend to tie up some loose ends that have been hanging for a couple years. I should have done this right after it happened but that time period was crazy for me and shit was happening daily. Forgot this even happened for a while there.
Best case scenario this was a disgruntled neighbor going through some sort of episode. Worst case scenario it was an actual malicious swatting attempt by an unknown foe. Alternate worst case scenario is there is no data on this call at all and it was never logged by dispatch or police. I will update once I receive a response on the request.

Some examples are FBI and COINTELPRO using telecom company data and services to disrupt Black Panthers and AIM in the 60's. AT&T partnered with NSA after 9/11 for surveillance purposes. During Arab Spring, telecom companies were pressured to give data to government in order to identify and detain protestors.

The ICE agent that was chasing the dude pulled out her gun and pointed it at the car as they drove off and got away...

The truck was parked on Diana Avenue along the north side of the park.

Officers thought he was the ex-boyfriend, so they told the man to raise his hands.
He didn’t obey and “made a movement” toward his waistband, Peoria police said.
One Glendale police officer fired his gun, hitting the man.
The victim, only identified as a 46-year-old homeless man from Tucson, died at the scene.
No guns were found on the man or in the park, police said.
After the shooting, officers checked out the truck more and found the ex-boyfriend inside, who had shot himself, investigators said.
He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.❞
