Last Notes I stopped for this bloom because the purple color caught my eye. Looking closer, it was the layers and tiny details that made me stay. #flowers #photography #nature #nostr There, tucked beside the path, the palest pink poppy had opened overnight. Not bold, not showy—just quietly there. Its petals were so thin they looked lit from within, as if the flower had caught a piece of the light and was holding it gently for safekeeping. Wisteria in Bloom 💜🌸 Optimism. 🌺 Hibiscus. With enough love ❤️ A dapper mushroom fancying up the local forest floor. This may be the single greatest flower I've ever seen. It is at the Bellevue Botanical Garden. “Balloon flowers are never in a hurry; Primrose on the edge of the forest. Hydrangeas teach us that change is not a weakness—it’s a reflection of growth, emotion, and the beauty of becoming. The now customary pic of two hoverflies bonking on my popsicle kniphofia 🌱🐝 My parlour palm, (which is in my office as I don't have a parlour) accompanied by a birdsnest fern 🌱🪴 Scabious, or pincushion flowers if you prefer 🌱 In a fast-moving world, beauty still asks us to pause. “Where Quietness Lives” A bumblebee pauses on a thistle, its long tongue reaching into the flower for nectar. A small moment in nature, quietly reminding us how much life depends on these tiny pollinators. 🐝💜 Hadn't seen a Chickweed Geometer in awhile and said so out loud as I approached the front door yesterday.
