Made meringues for the first time. These are lemon flavoured.
I learned that putting parchment paper down on the baking trays is not optional but still managed to salvage enough for my event tonight.
(But not before panic calculating if I had enough time to still make brownies after the first few crumbled upon my attempt to remove them from the pan)

normally I'm very happy with where I live (Southern Ontario) but this is the time of year where I start to get jealous of other climates. I would happily trade out our 2 feet of snow for some daffodils.
