When you run coding agents you're implicitly trusting your MAP (model + agent + provider) stack not to hack your computer or steal your data/code.
Sandboxes help a lot with reducing potential damage but aren't actually a complete solution either.
Choose your vendors wisely my friends!

If it is true that "The hottest new programming language is English" then there's nothing wrong with not reviewing agent code.
Look at how we already write code in high level languages like TypeScript/Go/Rust and almost never review the generated machine code.
But it's not true, at least not yet.

We can't expect the incumbents to suddenly become selfless and generous.
Was always clear that Zuck treated Threads open protocol support as a hedge against AT / Bluesky.
He was scared that there would be an exodus of users to new social apps that treat users better than he does.
Make it happen!

Someone should be trying to convince Kevin Rose and the people building the new version of Digg to build on AT protocol.
Reddit needs to be replaced and nothing would improve the new Digg’s chances like being an open alternative.
They’ll have serious funding so will have the best shot by default.

Bashing SQLite is about the quickest way to out yourself as a technically ignorant noob.
The Bluesky PDS reference implementation has service millions of users at less than $0.001/mo per user for years now, with a very high degree reliability.
Self-hosting it requires almost zero maintenance.

Wow. Great work @npub1up3…czka!
Recruiting devs to the atproto ecosystem is a massive part of how atproto/Bluesky will win.
Great educational posts like this one doing well on HN is the most effective tactic available.
Many more devs still need to learn how much the atproto network has to offer.

Woohoo!
Moving did:plc to an independent org and then decentralizing it fixes the strongest technical criticism of atproto.
Would love to see did:plc quickly be decentralized to the degree that DNS root servers are. Mirrors w/library support for using the mirrors, even if readonly. Then make a v2!

Eugen could personally block/delete ~25% of active Fediverse users at any moment and they would have no recourse.
Handful of other admins could block/delete another 50%+
When the Bluesky app finally supports syncing to the phone, no one can block/delete any Bluesky users under any circumstance.
