Currently it is too easy to accidentally disable it (eg when adding a new wifi network)

Angor is decentralised, the founders have explicitly designed the platform with this goal (deplatforming) in mind
Granted (!) it's more geared towards a more serious raise, with milestones and on-chain transactions

Instead of sending sats, we should burn them.
A verifiable proof-of-burn tied to a Nostr event is a WAAAY stronger signal than a regular zap. No one receives the sats, so there's nothing to dox and no way to game the system. It's just pure, on-chain destruction — publicly linked to whatever you're trying to highlight.
The network still sees the intent and the cost, but without creating new balances or attack surface. And honestly, "zap" already sounds like something getting incinerated.
Burn zaps > regular zaps.

Just tried Zeus 13 - wow, it's great! Easy to setup and much faster startup time. The ecash integration is also very well thought out.
And it's possible that it is slightly faster than minibits to get to the payment screen, with the caveat that the app must **already be open**
From startup, minibits will get you to payment QR scan in under 2 seconds
Zeus with LDK still takes around 20 seconds, in the quick test made just now
Another awesome thing about Zeus is that the fees are very low (they were zero in our tests) so fair to say that this wallet is a great alternative to Phoenix

Multidevice possibility is something that simplex doesn't have
Also the fact you will have a choice of clients (including web) with Marmot
Right now, Simplex is more stable / uses less battery / has voice & video etc but the project has a multiyear head start. Marmot clients will catch up.
About the no user id thing, not sure how it compares actually, assumption is that receive addresses / metadata are hidden to relays but could be wrong. There is also the question of auth identity. Would be a good question for todays call at 1600 UTC

Great piece, very useful
An alternative approach (different tradeoffs) is to rent a long term (real) sim online, and use this for kyc facing interactions
This way the number isn't tied to your geolocation and you don't need the extra device
Then, use your main graphene phone without sim - always in airplane mode. Always. If you ever turn it off, even without sim, you just pinged a cell tower your device identifier.
Finally, for mobile internet, a second graphene with a data only sim. No apps. Use this phone only for hotspot, when there is no wifi, and turn off immediately (or at that familiar junction) when not in use. This way you can swap out your "marked" device without needing to transfer your local data.

We have always run our own email server and never had any problems
The whole "it doesn't work" thing only applies if you are bulk mailing (aka, spamming)
It's true that right now our server does not mail gmail addresses. We consider this a FEATURE, not a bug! We won't fix it - as all the people who signed up to our various platforms, and have had to provide alternative addresses, will attest.
