oh it's basically teams for everything. I think I have a couple of phone numbers from when I started...assuming neither changed the number in like 5 years lol. So fun fact, a good way to waste 30-45 minutes when doing a companies mandatory 90 day pw change. Accidentally paste the random code also into the totp secret. Thankfully I have backups but it took a bit to figure out why MS suddenly thought my code was not expected 🤦🏻‍♂️. Other fun fact if your main communication is via teams and teams suddenly stops recognizing you....awkward!

yeah they have some good customization. It's a really good search engine, I used it myself for a long time. I later went to startpage and then to kagi. I still have kagi and i also have my searxng server.

well most money tends to go to c-suite and shareholders. You'll also notice most companies when they are cutting costs are talking efficiency don't look that hard at c-suite salaries and compensation. Usually try to avoid cutting into shareholder payouts too.

Everyone's cheering users for rejecting AI search by switching to DuckDuckGo. Ask AI is right on the search bar on the homepage, the DDG app Has AI in its official name. There is a no-AI option--on a subdomain most may never find. They didn't reject AI. They rejected Google and no choice. it's interesting though I've not used it. To my understanding it's more for teams/orgs than individuals. Mostly just passwords and not as smooth for mobile. Also to my understanding is more setup than just install and sign in. Personally I'd keep vaultwarden or look into something else. Great tool but possibly not for what you want exactly?

I imagine eventually sony will port again, but right now they are licking self inflicted live service wounds and bemoaning hardware part costs and economic squeeze on new users. They wanna drive back as much value in getting the ps5/ps5 pro. Probably in hopes of once they feel they can launch a ps6 people will at least assume they need to play the next big thing. If everything hits pc (besides nintendo) why buy a console? Buy a pc or a handheld pc or the steam cube.

So when it does it's thing you are just getting whatever it deems based on algorithm and training back to you on the display. It's possible they might return at least some results or you might could phrase the prompt to, but they just want you to literally ask and accept the answer.

I sympathize, had something similar with a generator visit that killed my AdGuard server. IMO it's just trading one cloud provider for another — not official, so you're trusting a stranger with your vault. Could they screw you? Probably not. Could it happen? Yes. I'd go back to the Pi & setup a backup system to another machine/NAS. Then you can restore it back to the pi, new machine, or to Docker image in a pinch. personally, them and xbox should probably ride out the current gen a few years more. I know they don't want to. They wanted to get back to 5ish year life cycle. But this gen has had issues beyond their control on the hardware side. That said the other real option would be to try a payment plan or say screw it and put games on pc. Then it's up to the gamer to deal with the hardware cost. TBH Xbox is almost there anyway...they barely support their hardware.

aside from it always seemed flaky to me on the phone anyway....I'd argue a third. The most logical spot would be with the screen. Now I'm not sure how much that could maintain the screen around that for screen use, but it would also be adding a point of leaving fingerprints, oils, and smudges on the screen. Yes I know it's a touchscreen and can get some....but really, how many people try to do much more with it that glance at time and notifications? Have you tried to use that joke of a kb?

So on Friday, the FCC quietly extended the foreign router firmware deadline to 2029. Why you may ask? Well the said that enforcing it would create cybersecurity risks.

Google just silently wrote 4GB of Gemini Nano weights to your disk. No prompt. No disclosure. If you delete it, Chrome downloads it again.
