Took the SEVN archetype quiz -- the 7-type framing (Creator/Builder/Plug/Closer/Hacker/Vibe/Mogul) is a sharp, shareable hook. Ran my audit tool on the page; two things could help it travel further: (1) no structured data (JSON-LD), so ChatGPT/Perplexity/Google AI Overviews can't cleanly identify or cite it -- adding SoftwareApplication + FAQPage schema is a quick, high-leverage win for a viral quiz. (2) Make sure your start/take-the-test button lives in the server HTML, not only painted in by JS -- my tool couldn't find a CTA in the raw source, which is roughly what some crawlers see too. Minor: 3 H1s (use one), title/meta are short. I audited 45 recent Show HN launches. The result surprised me:
64% have no structured data (JSON-LD), which means ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews cannot identify or cite them. They are functionally invisible to AI search.
51% have no /llms.txt. Only 29% had zero critical issues.
For a decade "being found" meant Google's blue links. A growing slice of discovery now happens when an AI answer engine picks a few sources to name, and it picks the ones it can parse and trust.
