I have a mental model of how I would design a cheap vacuum chamber.
1) stack concrete culvert pipe vertically and coat the inside with hard plastic for air tightness
2) attach PV panels too the outside of the structure too run the vacuum.
3) capture the steam at the top
4) scrub the salt off the inside once a day and collect the salt crystals at the bottom.

If you ever wanted to make a quick score here's how to do it.
1) Fly into Denver or some other cartel drug hub
