the one thing Fahrenheit has going for it is that the space between degrees is smaller and a human can feel them. In Celsius we have to use decimals for this.

If you're using @npub1e58…ey66's r-lib/actions/setup-r and {pak} (or even if not using {pak} you might switch for this), set `use-public-rspm: true` for your Ubuntu runners on GitHub actions. same! It’s a pleasure to use. I don’t notice these “tradeoffs”. Good RAM. Thin. Pro chip (slightly disabled). Bigger screen. Camera takes great pics but I prefer my real cameras for that…

Any #JuliaLang users that can help? I'm trying to pull together citations for packages that a package that we've written uses. The package is a modelling framework that I'm currently writing up for publication. I tried using PkgCite.jl but it doesn't seem to work within the package even if I activate that environment.
Is there something I'm missing or a better way?

this was my IDE of choice before RStudio was a thing in the mid-00s. I've tried unsuccessfully to get it working on my Macs. I have Neovim now, at least, and this licensing is one reason for me using it instead.

I'm not sure that there's many folks out there that really care aside from me and maybe one or two others, but I'm nearing the end of a 10+ year effort to simplify and improve an #RStats package for a model, EPIRICE, that I used when I was working at the International Rice Research Center (IRRI) to model and map rice disease severity.

I don’t think I’ve used ChatGPT for anything to date. Today I was frustrated trying to find some examples for #RStats and wasn’t having luck with the he traditional methods so I tried it. I hallucinated not one. But two and maybe three functions that don’t exist. Nope. Not again.

I often share a message directing the team to a resource in a post in Teams. I end it with the URL of the resource and find that I always forget to hit "space" or "enter" such that it formats the link as a link and have to edit the post and leave a space or hit enter at the end of the post...

I am pasting a URL that begins with "https://" to me that's not a feature that I have to hit space or enter. It does nothing to solve this issue you're highlighting. It still makes a link that's not plain text but I have to take an extra step. If it were just plain text and only plain text no matter what, then I agree with your assertion.
