It’s as much a museum as a hotel. There’s a Solari split flap departure board, a museum of historical TWA uniforms, some of Saarinen’s original design drawings, and plenty of 60s-style decor.

@SingaporeAir runs some interesting catering partnerships with farms and fisheries in the Northeast to supply its NYC departures.

Interesting: we expected the world’s longest flight to have a crazy long takeoff roll, but we lifted off 6800 feet into the 12079-ft JFK 22R. And with only a 9kt headwind.
It probably helps that the @SingaporeAir ULRs carry far fewer pax than their standard A350s do

We thought we would be smart and the wife would kick me out at the curb with the baby, stroller, and bags to check while she parked. I grabbed the wrong bag and just checked about $6K worth of camera gear. Meant to carry that one with me!
