Problem solved! Today I replaced all the hoses again with new ones and also made sure that the water flows through the miner without any blockages. Then I filled it back up with demineralized water and paid special attention to proper venting. I also positioned the radiator higher and lowered the miner a bit.
In the meantime, I’ve also figured out what I was doing wrong. The mistake was filling the water reservoir to the brim during operation and then tightening the top screw extra tightly as well. That effectively created a closed loop and left too little space for the heat to expand. (That’s why heating systems use expansion tanks.)
I learned a lot this weekend!
One final word: Don’t mess around with electricity. I had all the electrical connections installed properly by a qualified electrician. Under the system I installed a ramp so that water can drain off immediately. In case of a malfunction - 1st thing: Power off!

Hard to say, because the upper hose is made of silicone and the next section going into the miner is made of a rigid, non-flexible material. But what just occurred to me is that I actually changed something a few days ago: I hung the hose into the bracket at the top so that everything would look neat and tidy. That could actually be the cause. First, I’m going to take the hose out of there again and, in any case, place the radiator higher and the miner lower, then see whether that fixes the problem.

Only the one going up. I knew the miner ideally should have been placed lower because of the water circuit. But since it was working for weeks before… Could the height difference be causing the problem now?

Dear miner community — I need your help. 🙏Here you can see my setup. It was running perfectly until yesterday. Last night my system went into alarm — miner down — I went to check and there was only half as much water left inside. This morning I topped it up with fresh water. Everything was running. In the afternoon I checked again — hose torn. OK — now everything is freshly installed. But when I switch it on, the hose immediately swells up quite a bit, and what flows back out of the miner seems very little to me. Could it be clogged somewhere? (The valve is open, and of course I only used demineralized water. And as I said: this setup ran flawlessly for weeks.)
Any ideas ?

Nothing fancy so far — FIPS node running, Stalwart mail server bound to the FIPS interface, mails readable in Thunderbird.
Next up: an installer script that sets everything up with one command — FIPS + mail server, Nostr key import, automatic port forwarding so peers can find you.
The goal: download, enter Nostr key, done. (Theoretical 😏)

No central mail server. No single company that can be hacked, subpoenaed, or shut down.
I'm not paranoid.
I'm just done relying on someone else's infrastructure for things that matter.
GPG hides the letter.
FIPS Mail hides the letter and the mailbox.
Still learning. Still experimental. Still better.
Build it before you need it.

My prompts stay on my hardware. Only encrypted tasks travel through the mesh (FIPS/Nostr).
Every agent has an Npub managed via NIPs. I use my Start9 server, Thinkpad, PC, mobile and all old machines I can find at home to provide the compute for this private mesh. At the end of the day I want to tell my favorite agent my vision on my de-googled phone and my agent is going to orchestrate the subagents at home. No central kill-switch.
Zero cloud leakage, total data sovereignty. Turning all my hardware into a distributed compute cluster with decentralized routing via Nostr and FIPS-Mesh.

How FIPS Mail works — setup in a nutshell:
Install FIPS — a mesh networking daemon that runs on your PC. It generates a Nostr keypair as your identity. Your npub becomes your address in the mesh.
Connect to the mesh — FIPS finds other nodes via Nostr relays and connects directly, punching through NAT automatically. No VPN, no central server.
Install Stalwart — a lightweight mail server that runs locally on your PC. It only listens on the FIPS network interface — invisible to the outside world.
Your email address — is simply [email protected]. Anyone else on the mesh can send you mail directly, PC to PC, fully encrypted.
Read your mail — with any standard mail client (Thunderbird, etc.) connected to your local Stalwart server.
The result:
No central server
No provider that can read, sell or block your mail
Your identity = your Nostr key
Works behind any NAT, any router, anywhere

Right now it's a trade-off: privacy vs. performance. If there was real confidential computing with the same quality as the proprietary models, I'd pay exactly what I'm paying them now. (Not sure if I'm making sense here…)
