Why do we ("liberal democracies") have any tax? They've demonstrated that they can "quantitatively ease" into existence as much fiat as they want, so why do they need to tax us too? This exposes democracy as a big lie - the government is not drawn from among us by consent. It's just a control grid.

I'm new here, and I'm here mainly in case Telegram gets neutralised by censorship. The chat groups on Telegram seem to police themselves fairly well (against some things; their politics would be relatively obnoxious). But I'm guessing that's a very different model of social media, and it wouldn't work on Nostr?

nothing to suggest that anything about the poll is real. have you ever been polled? the whole thing (the US election process, I mean) is kayfabe and the result is predetermined. the only thing up for grabs is the level of cognitive dissonance that will be generated and tolerated.
