The UC Berkeley Library is looking for a part-time research data curator to join their pilot project providing research data storage to faculty. 50% time and a 20-month term appointment, but it's a union-represented Associate Librarian position and fully remote eligible. And the team on this project are great people.

ugh, that’s a terrible edit. Like the formatting, that’s legit; but “in case other people with the same problem run across this question, like I did” is a totally normal thing for people to put in SE answers (maybe I would put a line break and parentheses, but whatever), and the rewrite from “I had” to “I found” is just gratuitous @npub12s4…gj4c

note: of course I can absolutely afford this, but for lots of students in my program that's groceries for the week. two weeks, because this course has two required textbooks!
keep working "to recognize and dismantle systemic and individual biases," ALA peeps, and one day maybe you'll make some progress on "[enhancing] diversity and inclusion", too

You’d think cranking out new editions of $85 textbooks every couple of years would be clearly against the #ALA Code of Ethics, but surprise! there's nothing in there about economic justice
