Looking through my archive got me interested in taking pics again so I am currently armed with my Canon EOS 60D (old!) and a 100mm macro lens, used for taking pics of bugs and flowers, as well as a Fujifilm Finepix IS-1 colour-infrared camera for otherworldly colours.

I also have a massive archive of 25+ years of photos which I sometimes post from, particularly ducks on a Monday.

Previously obsessed with the One Lab app for processing photos on Android. Still love it, but not using it so much right now.

I don't think I've seen these before - or at least I've never noticed them. These are sulphur beetles - apparently the only full-yellow beetle in the UK so not difficult to ID. The first two pictures are shown on sea holly.
[incidentally, in the unlikely event anyone wants to use these elsewhere, I have higher resolution versions available - as with nearly all my pics on here I've been uploading smaller files to save the fediverse's collective disk space]

This started out as a photo I took many years ago of the #NorthernLights in #Iceland. It was already quite a nice photo, but if I want to use it as cover art it needs to be square, and perhaps a bit fantastical. I'm not sure this treatment in #OneLab makes it any *better* but it makes it fit the need a bit more.
