You pay alby to use their cloud node. Or use your own node which all of podcasters already do and use AlbyHub to use all the p 2.0 apps. There is more than enough guides out there by BTC Sessions and DarthCoin to setup nodes. These are still excuses by people that think its difficult to setup their first LN channel. Its not.

Alby Hub is still today the only way to use the other podcast player apps that support v4v. Its been over 2 years and NOBODY has ever came up with a better solution or as a secondary. The excuse that they dont want to pay $10 to have them run a node for them is a pussified cop out excuse we've heard for years. But these same people have no problem shilling out subscriptions on Fountain for rss feeds you can already get for free. Flash doesn't live in reality. NoAgenda has been around for 18+ years. Good luck that anyone will ever be able to match their success with v4v. Nobody starts a podcast to quit their day job. Its so stupidly unrealistic that talking point needs to be buried. People can get value any way they choose. They can compliment sats with fiat like we've already been doing for a decade or more. Like Adam said many times. Podcasting 2.0 is not for everyone and not everyone is going to get it or stick around.

I believe as podcasters we've given enough freebies to correct your feeds by now. If your feed is missing from the Index, that's on you and where its hosted. If your split has a dead feed, you dont get any of the sats. We will gladly take them and split them between active feeds. Or we just dont play your music if it goes to nothing. Thats pointless. If your hosting company is hiding your splits from the public not wanting to be transparent like they used to for years. That's between you and your hosting platform.
The days of set and forget is over. You have to still participate. Or you can go back over to Spotify and play for peanuts divided into infinity. All of this is volunteer, hobbiest. Nobody is forcing us to play your music or have a podcast promoting it. Doesn't matter if you were here day 1 or yesterday. Same reasons apply. Stay active. Joe Martin and The Doerfels are a perfect example of staying relevant in the changing v4v music protocol.

I get what you are saying. Keysend functions better for permissionless v4v than LNURL. Its always been this way. Lnurl does not solve what keysend still continues to provide today. Will it replace it with better or equal functions, nobody knows. But until then, wallets will need to keep or add keysend if they want the frictionless payments provided by the lightning network which node runners like myself provide.

Because Oscar separated our chapters ONLY in Fountain where if you are talking in between music tracks, those music tracks are NO LONGER, part of the chapters. This is why we haven't got ANY value for the artists in Helipad because he took out that information and sent those splits directly to their fountain feed. Nobody outside of digging into v4v music is going to take the time to sift through the mountain of dog shit of ai slop to find actual musicians. That is the entire point of us having music podcasts. We give these artists free promotions for people to discover new music. We dont need a track list in Fountain. The music IS the chapters. Thats what is also broken. @nprofile…htph

This is and has always been a Fountain issue which has got worse and not better the last 2 years. Even today, when someone boosts a track during my episode, the Helipad only shows how sent it and what they wrote. It does not show the info of the track they boosted AT All. No other p2.0 apps have this problem. Its Fountain, its always Fountain.

Nobody has a back catalog of generic "music" that has a need to upload over 100 tracks at once then upload another 100 with a similar name. None of these kids are Prince, Michael Jackson. Its all fake slop. Wavlake should be seeing this but they dont care because it makes them money. I cant trust anyone coming out of wavlake unless they've been vetted. It hasn't lost 50% not even at the 1 year to date mark. And this isn't the first or last time there has been a dip cycle. Zoom out. Historically people boost more sats when the price is down meaning the podcaster is typically getting more sats then when it was over 100k. This is just how it is when you've been though enough of thse dips.
