I am old enough to remember life before Rogernomics. I have never felt as good about the world as I did prior to the introduction of neoliberalism and the collapse of the once great egalitarian society we shared in Aotearoa where *everyone was able to have a crack at whatever they wanted.
*Not everyone, indeed the systemic racism, sexism and hatred of minorities is as alive and well today as it was back then but I believe the people of Aotearoa are far more aware and supportive of each other’s rights than we were when I was young despite this government’s brutal attempts to turn back the clock. #NZPol

Under international law an occupying force has no right to defend themselves against the people they are occupying.
They do however have a responsibility to protect the people they’re occupying. The only people with the right of defence from any occupying force are those being occupied.

I find the best way of intimidating white supremacists or those who've bought into Seymour's divisive, factually inaccurate rhetoric is overloading them with historic facts about te tiriti and colonialists failure to uphold the agreement. I've only had one person come back to say I had no idea of this, I'll go away and rethink my position whereas the majority either give up or default to meaningless cursing and personal insults proving they have no legitimate counter argument.

Was just discussing the future benefits of the walking/cycle way being installed on Pt Chev Rd linking the cycle ways on Meola, Garnet and West End Rd with Herne Bay en route to Auckland city with someone.
